Chocoholic Layer Cake
Oohs, aahs, wow and yum!
2 cups self-rising flour
2 cups sugar
1 cup wesson oil
4 tbsps cocoa
1 stick butter
1/2 cup buttermilk
2 eggs
vanilla flavoring
1 brownie mix
Hot fudge sauce for ice cream
2 pkgs Reese's Peanut butter cups or any candy pieces you prefer
About 1 cup each:
hersheys kisses
white chocolate morsels
butterscotch morsels
miniature marshmallows
Pecans

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Grease and flour 1-10 inch round cake pan.

Combine in mixing bowl, flour and sugar, set aside.

In saucepan, add 1 cup water, oil, cocoa, and butter, bring to a boil and stir 1 minute, add to flour mixture, mix well with whisk, then add buttermilk, eggs, and flavoring stir together until well blended.
Pour into greased and floured cake pan. Bake approx. 50 minutes, cake should be done when toothpick inserted in middle comes out clean.

While cake is baking, prepare brownie mix according to directions, pour into an 8 inch pie pan and bake according to package directions.

When cake is cooled, take out of pan and place bottom up on platter, poke holes in cake, heat fudge sauce and pour about half the jar over cake.

(This is where the fun begins),break up brownies and place over layer, add about a cup of each of the morsels,(this will be enough for 3 cakes) kisses and marshmallows, or as desired. Arrange pecans and peanut butter cups over layer. heat remaining fudge sauce and drizzle over cake.
If desired heat cake slices for about 15 seconds in microwave, and add a scoop of ice cream, You can add fresh strawberry slices and or marachino cherry's. For extra decoration, you can heat some of the white chocolate morsels, and using a zip-lock bag pour melted chocolate in bag, snip small piece off bottom corner, and drizzle a design on wax paper, and place in freezer about 2 minutes, and peel off and arrange on cake.
This cake is great for a gift, or holidays!
