Dump Cake

1 can cherry pie filling
1 can crushed pineapple(with juice)
1 pkg. yellow cake mix
1 stick butter or margarine
nuts (optional)

Dump cherry pie filling and pineapple and juice in a greased, long, shallow casserole dish.
Dump dry cake mix on top. Slice butter and distribute as evenly as possible across the top.
Dump desired amount of nuts over top. Bake at 350 degrees F. for 45-55 minutes.
Dern good dessert, but extremely rich. Even worse, us Tennesseans eat it with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
