Whipped Shortbread
Shortbread Cookies |

1 cup butter
1 1/2 cups flour
1/2 cup icing sugar
|
Combine all ingredients and beat for 10 minutes. Drop by teaspoon onto cookie sheet. Decorate with cherry pieces, etc. Bake at 350 degrees for approx 17 min. until bottoms are lightly browned. Makes approx 3 dozen small cookies. These melt in your mouth! The secret is in the beating!
