Chicken Chow Mein
4 tsp. soya sauce
2 Tbls. corn starch
1/2 cup cold water
4 tsp. corn oil
2 cups diced raw chicken
2 cups celery sticks
2 cups sliced onions
2 cups chop suey(vegetables)
1 tsp. sugar
2 cups chicken broth
salt and pepper

 

Mix soya sauce, corn starch and cold water.

Heat the corn oil in a deep frying pan. Add salt and pepper, sugar and broth. Cover; simmer for 5 minutes. Stir and add chicken, celery. Cook 5 minutes over high heat.

Add onions and chop suey. Cook 3 minutes. Add corn starch mixture. Cook; uncover for 2 minutes. Stirring constantly.
