Crab & Peas Salad
Delicious crab meat salad served cold.
1 lb crab meat or substitute
1 lb frozen peas
8 oz bacon
1 cup mayonaise
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp seafood seasoning

 

Mix onion powder & seafood seasoning with mayo. Set aside.
Cook bacon to 'just about crumbly', crumble it & set aside.
Run cold water over frozen peas until the peas are seperated, not thawed.
In a bowl, mix peas, crab meat & crumbled bacon. Use the mayo/spice mixture to seal the top of the salad. Do NOT mix it all together until you are ready to serve. With the top of the salad sealed, refrigerate until ready to serve.
Before serving, mix ingredients so everything is well coated with the mayo mixture.
