Oven Stew
Easy, Fast, Yummy, Hot Stew
Stew meat of your choice
1 pound Vegetables (I use carrots, celery, onion, and potatoes
1 can tomato soup
1/2 can water
6 Tablespoons of tapioca (to thicken the liquids)
1 Tablespoon white granulated sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper

 

Layer in the bottom of a large, covered casserole: meat, onion, carrots, celery, potatoes

Mix in bowl and pour over the top (will be thick)
1 can of tomato soup
1/2 soup can of water
6 T of tapioca
1 T sugar
1 t salt
1/4 t pepper

Bake, covered, for 5-6 hours in slow oven set for 275 degrees. Do not peek or stir, it puts a nice glaze on the stew! Enjoy!
