Next year I think I am going to lease a condo somewhere far away from home for the holidays.  Not because of any culinary disasters, but because of the proverbial "in-law" issues.  Either that, or try just not being available. Need to start planning now. 
Nothing too exciting or out of the ordinary for meals, but traditional is comfort food, is it not? New Year's Eve was quiet and at home with turkey enchiladas (my first try, and quite good if I do say so myself) and yummy strawberry margaritas.
