Ah, the reason I ask...I was in New York some years back (before widespread internet) in late May/early June. My thinking was..."Oh, we're about the same lattitude here, so the weather must be similar" ...and packed accordingly. Yeesh! For my trip anyway, New York was a bit warmer than expected and rather humid.
I don't think we have TVP here as you describe it, but I will look when I go shopping later this week. We do however have "Tofurkey" - someone's answer to the craving for real turkey during the holidays I suppose.
Sorry, I have been flat out like a lizard drinking and haven't been checking this site for a couple of weeks. I guess that NY will be hot in late July when we get there. That doesn't worry us as we are used to heat but I don't like humidity.
