I see in alot of slice & biscuit recipes that "Graham Crakers" are used. I cannot find these in Australia, can anyone suggest a substitute? |

It's hard to tell when you're posting whether the reader will know what you're talking about when you refer to a brand name. Marketing areas are sooooooo various. I've noticed that our Australian contributors refer to a 'biscuit' where the US counterparts would talk about a 'cracker' or a 'cookie'. Graham Cracker is an example of a country wide market item in the US that just doesn't register with our Aussie brethren. It would be fun to build a cross-reference library of some sort that allows us to 'internationalize' our recipes. |
