Does anyone have the recipe for the Japanese Clear Broth Soup that is served in the Japanese Restaurants. Not the miso soup. |

Here is a very common and easy to make recipe. Clear Japanese Soup 1-1/2 quart Chicken Broth 1/3 cup Dry Sherry 4 1/2 tsp Soy Sauce 1 Thinly Sliced Lemon Bring broth to simmer in large saucepan. Add sherry and soy sauce; simmer 2 to 3 minutes. Ladle soup into small bowls; float a lemon slice in each bowl. You may add thinly sliced fresh mushrooms and/or sliced green onions and/or a very thinly sliced carrot into the bowl of soup just before serving. Yields about 6 servings |
