Am looking for a recipie for Tomato Soup, my grandmother used to make it, i have not been able to duplicate it.
You use canned or fresh tomatoes, margerine, baking soda, and milk.
How do you add milk and baking soda without curdling ?

Have you looked at the Cream of Tomato Soup recipe in the Soups category here? I make that one all the time for my husband and he loves it.. others that like tomato soup says it is the best they've ever had... The baking soda takes the acid out.. so the milk doesn't curdle!
Give that one a try! I have to be honest.. I've never tasted it.. I don't care for tomato soup.. but I get requests to make it for others all the time!
