 Post subject: Smoking salmon on the grill

Anyone got any tips about the target temperature for smoking salmon on the grill? I'm sure it wouldn't be as high as pork (~160 dF) but haven't tried this before and want to do it safely. BTW, you can see the rig and us doing our thing on the grillcam

I went for 145 degF internal temp on the fish and it turned out pretty good. Slow cooking with a side fire it took about 2.5 hours for several filet of salmon. The good news is that we had a very good time around the grill while this 'low maintenance' item was happening. :)
