 Post subject: butternut squash and apple soup

I didn't peel the granny smith apples and now my soup is bitter :-( Any recommendations? HELP!!!

:) Hi,
Aren't you supposed to use sweet apples?
Did you inadvertently cook any pips with the apples? That would leave an ineradicably bitter taste.
Try taking a cup of the soup and putting some sweet apple juice in it, a little at a time. If this works, add the same proportion to your soup and heat. It will be thinner but edible.
