Actually, just this past weekend we started trying out some of the medieval recipes I picked out. Wow! The first one we tried is a meat pie called Pyes de Pares - or pies of Paris - that I found at godecookery.com. Excellent! And very quick and easy to make. Although some of the ingredients seemed odd for a meat pie, the end result was delicious.
