Hmph. Nothing like trying a recipe on the site for the first time and having it be WRONG. We pulled this fried dough recipe off of here:
http://www.netcooks.com/recipes/Breads/Fried.Dough.html
The ingredients call for 1 Pint of milk (last time I checked 1Pint = 2 Cups), then in the description it tells you to poof the yeast in 1C of milk, leaving one to assume you need to add the additional C of milk with the other wet ingredients. Well, that would be if you wanted some dough soup, I suppose. Long story short, didn't have enough dry ingredients left to double everything, so we just wasted enough eggs to do breakfast tomorrow.
Thanks a bunch.
