Italian salad dressing, with a little cajun seasoning mixed in, 2 T per cup of dressing, is what I use, and I get such a tasty bird!
Please be very careful if you intend to fry your bird for the first time. The oil is such a fire hazzard. Remember to only fill the pot half full with oil, lower your turkey carefully into the put, and if you see u have too much oil, pull the turkey out and remove some of the oil. And be so very careful removing the turkey also, this is where most fires start.
And besure to use a smaller hen, rather than an enormous Tom, and your results will be better.
