ALLURING CRAB FRY
Crispy Crab Fry
Many of the Crabs are essentially aquatic while a few are terrestrial. Crab meat contains Selenium which helps in preventing cancer, lessen the risk of heart and circulatory problems. Crab meat helps in stabilizing blood glucose and contain good amount of proteins. It has low fat concentrations and have essential fatty acids, iron, zinc, potassium, calcium and other trace elements. US is the main crab exporting country followed by Japan and Canada.

500 grams of fresh Crabs.
350 grams of Refined oil.
100 grams of All purpose flour.
50 grams of Rice flour.
50 Grams of Corn flour.
2 Spoons of Ginger-Garlic paste.
2 Spoons of Red Chilly powder.
3 spoons of finely chopped garlic.
3 spoons of finely chopped green chillies.
Half cup Finely chopped Onions.
Few Curry leaves.
Salt to taste.
One egg white.

 

Thoroughly wash the crabs and cut them as required. Apply ginger-garlic paste and add all purpose flour, rice flour, corn flour, red chilly powder, egg white, two spoons of oil and one spoon of salt. Mix well and set aside for about half hour.

Take a frying pan, add oil and heat. Add the marinated crab pieces and deep fry until they turn deep brown. Remove them from the pan and keep aside.

To the same pan add some oil, heat and add the garlic pieces. Fry until the pieces turn brown. Add the green chilly pieces and the chopped onions and fry. Finally add the curry leaves, fried crabs and enough salt and fry further, stirring the contents constantly.

SERVE HOT WITH ONION SLICES.
