Best Cheese Ball

8 oz. cream cheese 16 oz. pkg shredded SHARP cheddar 1/2 cup chopped onion (white or red) 1 4oz. jar diced pimientos 1 tsp. garlic powder 1 Tbls. worcestire sauce 1 6oz. pkg. chopped walnuts or sliced almonds

Mix together softened cream cheese and shredded sharp cheddar cheese (kneading with hands has proven easiest). Add garlic powder, worcestire sauce, chopped onion and drained pimientos. Mix well.
Add 1/3 of the chopped nuts to the cheese mix (if you can't find pre-chopped walnuts, place them between two sheets of wax paper and crush with mallet, rolling pin, etc.)
Spread the remaining nuts on sheet of wax paper. Shape cheese mix into ball and roll the ball into remaining nuts, coating evenly.
Chill 30 minutes and serve with crackers.
