Cheese Log Recipe Cheese Dip |
1 large block of SHARP cheddar cheese (GRATED) 1 block of cream cheese (room temp) 2 cups finely chopped pecans garlic powder
With the garlic powder never really knew how much. So, when I am through with mixing the other ingredients I just sprinkle a thin coat on top.
I usually wear baggies(or gloves) on my hands, but you can do it with bare hands. Just make sure to mix well.(REAL WELL). Then lay out some wax paper and grab a big hunk of it and start making a log by rolling and rolling. It should make two real long or 3 smaller. Also, these do freeze well.
Just for looks when the roll is ready I take whole pecans and place on top and punch them down a little. It makes a nice presentation.
