Chicken Wings Medium hotness! Honey smooth! |
|
|
Chicken Wings 1/2 cup Louisiana Hot Sauce 1/2 cup butter 1/4 cup Honey
|
Thaw wings completely.
Separate wings at joints, discard tips.
Fry wing pieces in 375 degree F. vegetable oil for 12-15 minutes. (Only enough wings to cover bottom of fryer basket, do not layer) As wings are done, keep them warm in a pan in a 250 degree F. oven.
Sauce: Combine Hot Sauce, Butter and Honey, heat over medium heat until simmering, stirring until well blended, then turn heat to very low.
When you have enough wings to start, put wings in large bowl, pour sauce on and toss wings in sauce until covered. Serve with celery sticks and blue cheese dip.
Note: be sure each guest has a good supply of napkins or paper towels!
