Beef Steak Stroganoff
Delicious and Easy!
2 Tbls. all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. paprika
1 boneless beef round steak (about 1 3/4 lb.)
1 can Cream of Mushroom Soup
1/2 cup water
1 pkg. dried onion mushroom soup mix (Lipton)
1 9oz. jar sliced mushrooms, drained
1/2 cup dairy sour cream
1 Tbls. minced fresh parsley or parsley flakes

 

In a slow cooker, conbine flour, garlic powder, pepper and paprika.

Trim excess fat from meat, cut into 1 1/2 x 1/2 inch strips. Place in flour mixture and toss meat until well-coated. Cook in slow cooker for 1 to 1 1/2 hours.

Add mushroom soup, water and soup mix. Stir until well-blended.

Cover and cook on high for 3 to 3 1/2 hours or on low for 6-7 hours or until meat is very tender.

Stir in the mushrooms, sour cream and parsley. Immediately cover and cok on high for 10-15 minutes longer or until heated through.

Serve over noodles or rice or with a beef-flavored rice and a spinach salad!
