Bistek Tagalog
Pinoy Steak
1kl beef(sirloin or any thinly sliced beef)
1/2 cup soy sauce
2 medium size white onions(onion ring cut)
juice of 7 philippine lemon or 1 large ordinary lemon(I really hate measurements, you can use less or more lemons depending on your taste)
3tbsp cooking oil(preferably refined coconut oil or vegetable oil)

Cut beef into serving pieces...Marinate beef in soy sauce and lemon for several hours or overnight. Heat oil in a pan and fry the onion rings for 1min... drain and set aside. Remove beef from marinade and fry in the same oil. If the juice starts to come out cover and simmer in low fire for 20mins. Add the remaining marinade and continue to simmer until beef is tender(add water if necessary). Add the onions and remove from fire.
