Chili With Green Peppers

3-4 cans (16 oz. each) light kidney beans, drained 2 cans (28 oz.) whole tomatoes 2 large green bell peppers, chopped 2 medium onions, chopped 2 cloves garlic, crushed 1/2 cup finely chopped parsley 2 lbs. lean ground beef 2-3 Tbls. chili powder 1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. pepper 1 tsp. cumin

Brown meat, onion and garlic. Drain. Put in crock pot and add remaining ingredients. Cover and cook on Low, 8-14 hours or on High, 4 to 5-1/2 hours.
This is 1 of 3 chili recipes that I cook during the winter months. We have been in a deep freeze for days. Have a crock pot of this chili cooking for tonight's dinner. Enjoy!
