Madras Style Beef

|
1kg braising beef cubes 3-5 tablespoons Vindaloo paste 1 large onion 1/2 cup ghee
|
1. Mix the vindaloo paste and beef
2. Finely chop the onion and cook in the ghee until quite dark and cook until brown.
3. Add water to cover, partially cover the pan and cook for 40 minutes then uncover and cook until the meat is tender and the sauce well reduces.
