Old-Style Swedish Meatballs Worth the Extra Time! |

2 lbs. ground beef 2 medium or large eggs 2/3 cup milk 2 Tbls. Parsley Flakes 1/2 cup Oatmeal 1 Onion, chopped fine 1 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. pepper 1/2 tsp. nutmeg 1/2 cup beef broth

Thoroughly mix together all the ingredients, except the broth.
Shape into small melon-ball size balls. Place on a baking sheet and put in the center of a preheated oven at 450 degrees F. for approximately 15 minutes to brown.
Remove and place in a covered deep pot or crock pot and cover with broth. Slow cook (Simmer) for 1 1/2 hours.
Delicious topped with Yogurt.
Great served on rice or over mashed potatoes with extra gravy, made with the extra beef broth, poured over the top.
