1 lb. sirloin steak cut in bite-sized pieces 2 Tbls. soy sauce 2 Tbls. sherry 1 Tbls. cornstarch 1 tsp. brown sugar 2 Tbls. oil 2 garlic cloves, minced 1 Tbls. grated fresh ginger root 1 red pepper, seeded and sliced 1 yellow pepper, seeded and sliced 1 1/2 cups snow peas 2 green onions, sliced 4 Tbls. water or broth 4 Tbls. oyster sauce cooked linguini for 4

In a bowl, mix steak, soy sauce, sherry, cornstarch and brown sugar. Marinate steak in this mixture while you prepare the veggies for the recipe.
Heat the oil together in a wok and stir-fry garlic and ginger root for about 30 seconds.
Add peppers, peas and green onions and stir-fry over high heat for about 3 minutes.
Add beef and marinade to wok and stir-fry for another 3 to 4 minutes. Pour in the broth and oyster sauce and stir until sauce has slightly thickened.
Serve over linguini noodles.
