Spicy BBQ Beef Sammiches
Hot as you want
4 Lbs Lean Ground Beef
1 Full celery stalk
2 medium white onions
2 cans (8 oz each) Tomato sauce
½-3/4 cup Ketchup
5 tablespoons Brown Sugar
6 tablespoons Sweet Baby Rays BBQ Sauce
3 tablespoons mustard
3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
2 fresh jalapenos
1 fresh habanero
Extra virgin olive oil
Sea salt/ course pepper
Fresh cilantro
Minced garlic
Tabasco- to taste
Onion Hamburger buns

 

Lightly cover the bottom of a stock pot with Extra Virgin Olive Oil, break up the lean hamburger and start to brown slowly.
Dice up the celery, onions, jalapenos, and habanero and stir into cooking meat.
Once cooked, drain and return mixture to stock pot.
Season with salt and pepper, 2-3 tablespoons of minced garlic.
Stir in the tomato sauce, ketchup, Sweet Baby Rays BBQ sauce, brown sugar, mustard, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix and heat until hot. Finely dice Cilantro and stir in.
Cook on low for 15-20 minutes to allow flavors to blend.
Taste. Add Tabasco to taste.
Place on a lightly toasted bun (brush with garlic butter if prefer)
