Swiss Steak Stew Meat in a Tomato Sauce |

3 lbs. of stew meat 2 29oz. cans tomato sauce 1 large green pepper 1 medium onion

Slice the stew meat chunks into halves. Brown in skillet. Remove browned meat from skillet and place into a large deep cooking pot.
Slice and dice green pepper and onions, cook in skillet till the veggies are slightly cooked. Remove from skillet and add to the meat.
Combine cans of tomato sauce to ingredients. Cook on medium heat till it reaches a slight boil. Stir occasionally.
Serve sauce on top of mashed potatoes or on top of egg noodles.
Quick easy dinner that tastes great! There is always room to add more of any ingredients depending on your taste.
This recipe can also be cooked in a slow cooker set on low for long term cooking time to ensure sauce full of flavor.
