Easy Mulled Wine Without the Spices
A warm, sweet mulled wine for winter evenings
1 bottle (750 mls) red wine
250 mls orange juice
250mls water
125 mls dark rum
Volume of lemon juice equivalent to 1 large lemon
3 tablespoons honey

 

put all ingredients except the rum into a saucepan and heat with the lid on until just about to boil. DO NOT ALLOW TO BOIL!. Add the rum at the last moment, stir and serve.
