Wild Blueberry Ice Shake Blueberry Ice Drink |
|
|
1 cup frozen wild Maine blueberries (sometimes I use 1 cup blackberries or raspberries instead) 2 cups ice, crushed 1/4 cup blueberry syrup (or use blackberry or raspberry syrup) 1/3 cup Rice Dream Vanilla 2-4 Tbls. sugar (optional)
|
Measure two cups ice in the blender. Make a tight seal and crush the ice until it is fine.
Add the blueberries and set to puree.
Pour in the syrup and Rice Dream and blend until the shake is light and frothy.
Garnish with a sprig of mint or a thin slice of orange.
When using blackberries for the shake, I like to garnish the drink with a slice of lime.
Serve the shake ice cold in a frosted parfait glass.
Sometimes, I use a can of Diet Sprite instead of the Rice Dream and sugar.
