Easy Elephant Ears with Honey Butter
Fast, Easy and Delicious!
frozen bread dough
1/2 cup butter or margarine
1 cup honey
1/3 cup evaporated milk
1 7oz. container marshmallow creme
oil for frying

Let dough thaw, soften and start to rise.

Break off pieces about the size of an orange and pull and flatten to desired size. Place in hot oil. When dough is lightly browned on bottom and risen to top, turn and lightly brown the other side. Remove and place on paper towel to remove excess oil.

Place on plate and drizzle with honey butter. Recipe to follow.

Honey butter:
Put butter, honey and milk in small heavy sauce pan. Over medium heat stir until sauce just starts to gently bubble. Do not over cook as sauce will curdle. Remove from heat, cool slightly, and with an electric mixer, add marshmallow creme.

If you are using this recipe for a money maker, put frozen dough in refrigerator the night before use. Make plenty of honey butter.

Make it ahead of time as it keeps well when covered and refrigerated.
