Foccacia Bread Italian Flatbread |

3 1/2 Cups Flour 1 tsp. Sugar 1 tsp. Salt 1 Egg 1 Tbls. Yeast 1 Cup Warm Water 2 Tbls. Olive Oil 3 Tbls. Olive Oil

Combine 1 cup flour, sugar and salt, mix well.
Add yeast and oil to water and mix until yeast is dissolved.
Add water mixture and egg to the flour mixture. Mix vigorously with a fork until smooth.
Mix in 2 cups flour until the mixture pulls from the sides of the bowl. Knead in the remaining 1/2 cup flour until smooth.
Place on a greased cookie sheet and smooth some olive oil on dough to prevent it from drying.
Roll out on the cookie sheet until it is about a 12 inch circle. Smear 1 tbsp olive oil on the dough and cover with plastic wrap to rise for 30 minutes.
Remove plastic wrap and place in oven at 400 degrees F. Bake for about 10 minutes and smear the last of the olive oil on top with a pastry brush.
Continue baking for 10 more minutes, or until golden brown.
Cover with towel to cool slightly. Cut into sticks and serve with my Love Oil.
