Pumpkin Bread

3 cups sugar 1 cup vegetable or canola oil 4 eggs 3 cups flour 1 tsp. cinnamon 1/2 tsp. salt 1 tsp. nutmeg 2 tsp. baking soda 1 Tbls. baking powder 2/3 cup water 2 cups (one can) Libbey's pumpkin (or another brand) 1 cup chopped walnuts (I use a little extra because I don't use raisins) Raisins (optional)

Combine dry ingredients in one bowl(except the walnuts), and wet ingredients in another, larger bowl.
Add dry mix to wet mix; add walnuts.
Pour into two 5x9 inch pans, greased and floured.
Bake about 50 minutes at 350 degrees F.
Cool completely before removing from baking pan.
Note: Recipe makes alot, you may cut recipe in half.
