Idly Pluffy Rice Cakes |

Par-boiled rice - 3 cups urud dal - 1 cup
|
1.Rinse and soak the above ingredients in water for about 3 hours. 2.Grind in a blender to smooth consistency(add water little by little while grinding). 3.Add salt and keep it aside for 12 hours(to fermant). 4.Take idli plates and place a drop of oil in each idli mould and spread it over the entire mould. 5.Heat water in a large Idly making vessel or pressure cooker and place the filled idli plates and cover with lid. Heat in high for about 20 minutes. Remove the plates from the vessel and remove the idlis. Serve with Coconut or Coriander Chutney.
