1/2 cup flour 1 egg milk to consistency cardamom or cinnamon, to taste.

Mix ingredients together to make a thin batter (thinner then regular pancake batter) I sometimes substitute whole-wheat flour for a heartier taste. You may use either cardamom or cinnamon if you wish but neither is mandatory. I would suggest about a 1/4 teaspoon of spice per half cup of flour. Lastly, this recipe can be expanded to feed as many as you like!
In a hot 12-inch frying pan spread at thin layer of batter to cover the bottom of the pan. Cook till browned then turn. Cook the other side until browned also.
We like to eat them with maple syrup, however, any sweet condiment will due.
