Rich French Toast Delicious French Toast using Potato Bread! |

1 egg 1/3 cup milk 4 slices potato bread dash salt 1/2 Tbls. sugar 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract 1/2 tsp. cinnamon 2 Tbls. butter
|
Lightly butter 4 slices of bread on both sides. Beat the egg lightly in a large bowl, then add the milk, sugar, salt, and spices.
Save 1/2 Tablespoon of the butter and melt it in a large skillet over medium heat.
Soak the buttered bread in the egg mixture and put the bread into the skillet. Cook one side of the bread, then turn the bread over. Reduce the heat, then place the lid on the skillet and cook the bread until it is cooked evenly all the way through.
Serve warm with maple syrup!
