Sausage Breakfast Casserole Tasty Breakfast Meal! |

1-2 lbs. of your favorite kind of sausage, cooked, crumbled, and drained of any fats/greases 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese 6-8 slices of bread, white or wheat 6 eggs 3 cups of half n half, or regular milk if you prefer margarine salt and pepper, to taste

Spray a 9x13 pan with non-stick coating. Spread a thin coat of margarine or butter on one side of the bread. Place the bread in the pan, buttered side up. Place the cooked, drained sausage on top of the bread. Now put the cheddar cheese on top of that. In a large bowl, use a whisk and beat the milk and eggs together till well-mixed. Add salt and pepper if desired. Pour evenly over bread and sausage mixture. Place in a 350 degree oven and cook until it is golden and bubbly, about 30 minutes. Let it sit about 10 minutes before serving. You may want to try this with substitutions for ingredients. Try adding, onions, green peppers, pepperoni, mushroom, ham, mozarella...the possibilities are endless! This dish is also good if you make it the night before and cook it in the oven first thing in the morning. Enjoy!
