Chocolate and Cherry Ring An Extra Moist Cake! |

2 cups all-purpose flour 3/4 cup sugar 1 tsp. baking soda 1 tsp. ground cinnamon 1/8 tsp. salt 2 beaten eggs 1/2 cup cooking oil 2 tsp. vanilla 1 21-oz. can cherry pie filling 1 cup semisweet chocolate pieces 1 cup chopped walnuts powdered sugar

In a large mixing bowl stir together flour, sugar, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt. In another bowl combine eggs, oil, and vanilla; add to flour mixture. Mix well. Stir in cherry pie filling, chocolate pieces, and nuts. Turn cherry mixture into a greased and floured 10-inch fluted tube pan. Bake in a 350 Degree F. oven for 1 hour. Cool in pan on a wire rack for 15 minutes. Remove from pan;cool. Sift powdered sugar atop.
