Fresh Apple Cake and Carmel Sauce Cake |

4 cups peeled & finely chopped apples 2 eggs 1/2 cup chopped nuts 2 tsp. cinnamon 1/2 cup vegetable oil 2 cups sugar 1 tsp. vanilla 2 cups flour 2 tsp. soda 1 tsp. salt
Sauce: 1/2 cup brown sugar 1/2 cup white sugar 1/2 cup cream 1/2 cup butter 1 Tbsp. flour 1 tsp. vanilla

Put chopped apples in a bowl and break eggs over them, stirring well. Add sugar, cinnamon, oil, vanilla, and nuts. Stir in flour, salt, and soda, mixing and beating well. Bake in a greased 9x13 inch pan for 45+ minutes at 350 degrees.
Sauce: Boil together all ingredients 1 to 2 minutes and serve hot over cake.
