Ians Favorite Chocolate Cheesecake Rich and Delicious, Easy to make |

CRUST 1 1/4 cups chocolate cookie wafer crumbs or graham cracker crumbs 1/4 cup sugar 1/4 cup melted butter
FILLING 24 oz. cream cheese 1 1/2 cup sugar 3 eggs 1 cup sour cream 12 oz. melted semisweet chocolate morsels 1 tsp. vanilla

CRUST Mix crust ingredients and pat into a 9 or 10 inch springform pan. Bake 10 minutes at 350 degrees F.
FILLING Heat oven to 400 degrees F.
Mix cream cheese and sugar together. Blend well.
Add eggs one at a time.
Add sour cream, vanilla, then add melted chocolate. Mix well.
Pour into springform pan, place on middle shelf in oven.
In a separate pan, add 8 cups boiling water, place on bottom oven shelf. This provides moisture and prevents cracking. Cook at 400 degrees F. for 15 minutes, turn down to 325 degrees F., bake another 50 minutes or until cheesecake is set in the center. Turn oven off. Let sit in oven with door cracked for 1 hour.
Chill to serve. Freezes well.
