Irish Raisin Loaf Raisin Cake |

2 cups flour 2 1/2 tsp. baking powder 1/2 cup sugar 1/2 cup vegetable oil 1/2 tsp. salt 1 egg 1 cup milk 3/4 tsp. vanilla 3/4 cup raisins
|
Mix oil and sugar together.
Add vanilla, egg and milk.
Mix with all other ingredients and mix raisins in lastly.
Pour into greased and floured loaf pan.
Bake at 350 degrees F. for 45 minutes.
Cover with a tent of foil if it is browning too much.
Recipe can be doubled for two loaves with no problem.
