Marzipan Frosting
Topping for Cakes, Cupcakes or Tortes!
1 cup finely ground almonds
1 cup powdered sugar
3 large egg whites
1 tsp. almond extract

 

Place almonds and powdered sugar in container of a blender and blend at high speed for 6-8 seconds.

In a medium bowl, using an electric mixer on high speed, beat egg whites until stiff peaks form. Beat in almond mixture. Fold in the almond extract.

Use on cupcakes, cakes,or tortes. Especially good on cake doughnuts or topping for cream puffs.

Preparation Time: Serves: 1 and 1/2 cups
