200g Self Raising Flour 75g Margarine 200g Caster Sugar 75g Rasins or Glace Cherries 1 egg 2 Tablespoons Water
|
1. Set the oven to 175 degrees C / Gas mark 6. Mix the Flour and the Margarine together in a mixing bowl until the mixture looks like fine bread crumbs.
2. Add the Sugar and the Rasins or Glace Cherries and mix.
3. Search a smaller bowl and crack the egg into it. Add the water to the egg and whisk with a fork.
4. Add a small quantity of it into the mixture and keep adding until it's a soft dough. (Ensure that you don't add too much Egg and Water because the dough will be sticky)
5. Search for paper baking cases and put 1 tablespoon of the dough into each of them.
6. Put them into the oven on an oven tray or a cake tray and let them bake until they are well risen and golen-brown. This will take about 15 to 20 minutes.
7. Let them cool on a wite rack.
8. ENJOY!
