Cream Cheese Fudge

1 3oz. cream cheese, softened
2 cups confectioners sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 cup chopped pecans, opt.

Combine cream cheese and vanilla in a mixer bowl; beat until creamy.
Gradually mix in sugar, beating well after each addition.
Spread evenly in buttered pan and chill until firm. Cut into squares.
