3 cups Sugar
1/2 cup Light Corn Syrup
1/2 cup Cool Water
2 Egg Whites
1/2 tsp. Vanilla
1/2 tsp. Almond Extract
|
Place sugar, syrup and water in pan. Heat to soft ball (234 degrees F).
Beat egg whites till stiff.
Add 1/2 cup of mixture at soft ball stage to egg whites.
Continue heating mixture to (280 degrees F.) hard ball stage.
Add 1/2 tsp. of vanilla and 1/2 tsp. of almond extract to mixture and add to eggs. Beat until stiff peaks form.
Spoon out on wax paper.
