Maple butter creams
candy
1/2 cup softened butter, 1 (3ounce) creamcheese, 2 teaspoon maple flavoring, 4 cups powder sugar. 1 (12oz) pkg real semi-sweet choclate chips, 2 tablespoon shortening
 

Combine butter and creamcheese in a large bowl. Beat at medium speed, scraping bowl often until smooth add maple flavoring, continue beating until well mix. gradually beat in powder sugar until well mix Shape rounded teaspoons of mixture into 1-inch balls . place on wax paper-line baking sheet. freeze for 2 hrs. Mix chocolate chips in a sauce pan over low heat or use a double broiler thats what i used. add shortening to the chips I stick a tooth pick in the frozen balls and dip into the chocolate and put back on the pan i got them from let set for a while until chocolate set up. These are very good.
