Aunt Edna's Goulash

1 lb elbow macaroni 1 lb lean ground beef 1 large green pepper (chopped) 1 med. onion (chopped) 2 cans tomato soup (no water added) 1 can diced tomatoes (including juice) 2 cups shredded cheddar (mild) salt/pepper to taste
|
Prepare pasta according to directions. Drain & set aside. Fry hamburger & onion/green peppers, crumbling well during cooking. Drain grease if necessary. Add hamburger, pasta, soups, & tomatoes. Mix well. Lastly, add half the cheese. In a large, deep casserole dish (13X9), spread mixture evenly. Add rest of cheese evenly to top. Cover loosely with foil and bake at 350 degrees 25 minutes or until bubbly. Remove foil and bake an additional 10 minutes until cheese is browned lightly. Mmmmm!
