Boxing Day Scallop Casserole

2 - 12 oz. pks. frozen scallops 2 tbsp. butter 1/2 cup milk 1/2 - 1 tsp. curry powder 1 cup shredded sharp processed Canadian Cheese 2 tbsp. butter or margarine, melted 1/4 cup chopped onion 1 - 10 1/2 oz. can cream mushroom soup Dash pepper 1 can green beans 1 cup soft bread crumbs

Simmer scallops in boiling salted water 3 - 4 minutes, drain, cook onion in 2 tbsp. butter 'til tender - not brown. Add soup, milk, curry powder, pepper and 1/2 cup of the cheese. Stir until cheese melts. Slice cooked scallops cross-wise. Combine with drained green beans in 10x6x1-1/2 inch baking dish. Pour soup mixture over. Sprinkle with remaining cheese, bread crumbs, and 2 tbsp. butter. Bake in hot oven 425*F for 15 - 20 minutes.
