1 lb. ground beef
6 slices bacon
1 medium onion
1 8oz. carton sour cream

salt and pepper to taste

Fry bacon until crisp, then set aside. (Save the bacon grease). Brown the ground beef, drain and set aside. Pour the bacon grease into a 9 or 10 inch skillet. Add the cabbage and onion. Cover and cook until the cabbage is tender. Stir mixture every several minutes.

Put half of the mixture into into the pie shell and lay the cheese slices on top. Add the remaining half of the cabbage mixture, put the other pie crust on top and flute edges. Make 3 slits in the top crust. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Place the pie pan on a cookie sheet prior to cooking. Cook for 45 minutes or until the crust is golden brown.
