Cheese & Pasta in a Pot

8 oz. uncooked macaroni pasta
1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
2 medium onions,chopped
2 cloves garlic,minced
14 oz. can stewed tomatoes
14 oz. spaghetti sauce
10 oz. can mushrooms, undrained
2 cups sour cream
2 1/2 cups marble cheese

Cook pasta. Drain and rinse in cold water. Set aside.
Brown beef and onions. Combine beef mixture, garlic, tomatoes, spaghetti sauce, and mushrooms with juice. Bring to a boil, simmer 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
In a roaster or Dutch oven, layer as follows:
1/2 pasta
1/2 meat sauce
1/2 sour cream
1/2 cheese
then repeat layers.
Cover and bake at 350 degrees F. for 45 minutes.
